About us
Built for the game after work, not the one on television
MySportsBuddies started with a simple problem: ten people want to play and nobody can find the eleventh. We built the app that finds them — and then kept going, because a game worth playing is worth scoring properly.
What we do
We are a one-stop platform to help sports enthusiasts meet, play and compete. Everything that happens around an amateur fixture lives in one place: the people, the pitch, the result and the record.
Find players and games
Open games near you, filtered by sport and by how far you are willing to travel. Join one, or post your own and let the players come to you.
Host a tournament
Teams, squads, groups, fixtures, venues and standings. Invite co-hosts, hand scoring to a captain and watch the table update itself.
Score the match properly
Real scoreboards for cricket, football, badminton and more — not a notes app. Ball by ball, card by card, with a printable scorecard at the end.
Keep your record
Every innings and every spell goes to your profile. Batting and bowling averages are kept to the standard the professional game uses.
Your sporting feed
Photos, highlights and results from the people you play with, rather than from strangers with sponsorships.
Venues in one place
Courts, grounds and turf near you, with what they cost and who runs them.
How it works
- Create a free account. Phone, email or Google — whichever you already use.
- Set your sports and your city. Everything you see is filtered by both, so the app is about your game, not every game.
- Join a game or start one. Open games near you, or post your own and pick who plays.
- Score it. Hand the scoreboard to whoever is sitting out, and the result writes itself into everybody's profile.
